A look into what I do outside of school and projects.
Co-Founder and Lead
This started out as an idea during quarantine, it made me realize how much our youth lacked technical literacy in a world where its more important than ever and how I was very similar when I was younger. In highschool, there is very little done about technical literacy and I want to be apart of that change. So with my co-founders, we started this organization with a goal to show high school students how technology is for everyone and not just 'super techy people'.
Software
Over the past year, I've also started to participate in more hackathons! Mainly in software hacks, I've attended DeltaHacks, ElleHacks, Hack the North and more. I am hoping to start becoming a mentor to first-time hackers soon and help host workshops when the opportunities come.
McMaster Engineering Society
With the MES, I help organize meetings, connect people within the organization, plan social events and our swag. I basically help to keep the our society on track and organized!
iBioMed Society
As apart of the tech sub-team, I am helping to develop the iBioMed Society website. The goal of this website is to create a central hub for iBioMed students to get information about events, competitions or helpful resources that the society wants to put out.
